Pimax HMD's use Parallel Projections and tanks fps

★★★★★ Apprentice

This has been an issue since the start unfortunately and those with Pimax VR headsets are struggling to get a clear/crisp VR image with 75-90fps+ because we're forced to use Parallel Projections in the PiTool software to merge the image into 1 stereoscopic image (due to the canted displays).

Valve Index users have this built into SteamVR as far as I am aware and they don't lose any fps, but with Pimax, the use of PP causes a drop of 20-30% and hence even me with an Nvidia RTX 3090 FE, 9900KS@5.0ghz, 32gb@4000mhz, I have issues holding 75fps with my Pimax 8K X, because of the use of Parallel PRojections.

I have to keep most settings to mid/high to hold it, and it loses alot because of that

Please help us so we don't have to use Parallel Projections and merge the image.
