Permission Request - Apex Legends

★★★★ Novice

Hello! My name is Ilya.
I am a content maker. I shoot entertainment and educational content for the Apex Legends community on my YouTube channel and broadcast on Twitch.
YouTube - https://youtube.com/c/darumawma
Twitch - https://www.twitch.tv/daruma_wma
EA ID: darumaWMA

I ask you to give me the opportunity to conduct custom matches with my subscribers.
I want to hold tournaments for fun and for creating content for the YouTube channel.
I already had experience of participating and hosting Apex Legends tournaments.
I was the organizer of a 1 vs 1 Firing Range tournament with 64 participants.
My subscribers really liked it!
I am familiar with the tournament rules: https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/community-tournament-guidelines?setLocale=en-us

I really love Apex Legends and I want to attract as many players as possible to this game by hosting tournaments and creating fun content!
There is so little Apex Legends entertainment content on YouTube. I want to fix it and strike the perfect balance between fun and competition.
I have a lot of interesting ideas for tournaments Standard smile
I'll be waiting for your response.

Thank you!

I've already sent an email to APEXLEGENDSLICENSEREQUESTS twice, but no response

Hi @darumaWMA,

Afraid that would not be possible for us to provide via the forums, or if you've not heard back from the tournament team, sorry.

You're welcome to try reaching out via the email again, but currently the available functionality for everyone would be what's included in the Custom Lobby options at the moment.

We're happy to pass along feedback on the other options you'd like to see, though that's not something I would expect to see change in the near future.

Hey @darumaWMA

You should be able to make your own tournaments in-game now (since the release of S16)

I'm pretty sure you're just allowed to host tournaments for your community via this feature as long the tournament follows the guidelines you've linked in your previous post.

This video should illustrate on how to use it:

Hey @darumaWMA,

As @XHelperZ  mentioned, the Custom Lobby option is now available directly in-game, and you'll no longer need to reach out to the email from that page for approval.

There are minimum player requirements depending on the mode you're trying to play, but aside from those you should be able to create your own Custom Lobbies at will to play with your subscribers. Standard smile
