Your machine may be trying to use the video processing on your CPU rather than your GPU. Please try these steps to help prevent that:

1. Open the nvidia Control Panel
2. Click Manage 3D settings
3. Click the Program Settings tab
4. Click the Add button
5. Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\r5apex.exe
6. Select r5apex.exe and then Open
7. Customise individual settings if you like
8. Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.

I have this problem as well. My laptop specifications are GTX660M 2GB, i7-3610QM and 8GB DDR3. These specifications are totally satisfying minimal system requirements (NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 / Radeon HD 7700, i3-6300 / AMD FX-4350, 6GB RAM). But I have about 18-20 FPS on lowest settings in the game, what is absolutely unplayable. I don't think it should work like this. Not only I have such a problem. Other people complain about it too. Respawn, please, can you fix this? Thanks!

P.S. I don't have the integrated graphics.

Same problem. Very low fps regarless graphics. Not using any integrated graphics, already checked.

Anything new here? im having the same issue
So now im posting here to see if there is anyone that can help me.

Build:

Motherboard: Asus X99 Deluxe

CPU: Intel Core I7-5820k

Ram: 16GB

Graphics: GTX 1080

SSD with origin and Apex installed.

In all my other games like CSGO, Fortnite, PUBG, BF1 etc im running the game on ultra with over 150 FPS with no problems.

I have put everything on low, testing all the settings with different parameters, also tested to chance the config file with some recomendations ive found here on the sub.

When flying into the map from the plane im getting around 17-22 FPS, its terrible. When i land it gets alittle better around 40-70, but i drop alot in fights with nades and bullets flying everywhere

When i boot up the practice map its smooth on 100-120 fps, but i feel like my build should be able to pull more.

Anyone got any idea whats going on?
