Patch 2.0 - I can't lanuch a game

@EA_Atic A friend of mine gave me his accounts login info. He logged out of his account. I logged into his account on my PC. I launched BFII, worked no problem. Exited the game, signed out of his account, logged into mine, and MY BFII worked fine. Playing now.

I had this exact same issue in the past with an update, took me several hours to fix it.
Now I saw this patch brought my problem back so I tried the same trick and its working again with me (no assurance it will fix your game)

Go to C:ProgramFiles\Origin\Games\STAR WARS Battlefront II

Delete starwarsbattlefrontii.exe & starwarsbattlefrontii_trial.exe

In Origin let a repair run on the game, it will download the 2 files you just deleted

Now it works again (at least with me), running a repair without deleting those files did not work

that would certainly save time on the servers for the massive patch.
Would have been great to let daily users have the patch a day before and keep many more up to speed...

I deleted the .exe file and then repaired the game files but i am still getting this.

Nice try but it does not help and a complete waste of time. The op system behaviour did not change with the patch EA implemented on SERVER side..
