Party at Home Update Not Working

I still cannot host a party at the home to which the Sim is assigned. I have updated the game. I am also still having issues with the same two Sims. It doesn’t look like an update to the game is going to fix that issue as it has updated multiple times and my sims show no signs of aging up and the other issues they both have.
