PVZ GW2 Poor Performance on Mid-High End PC

Hey can someone help me with this?

I have a pretty good pc and this game runs like garbage on it. Even if I lower my settings the performance is bad!

Here are my specs:

GTX 1060 3gb

i7 -4790 @ 3.60ghz

8GB RAM

Two 1TB Hard Drives

@TheRealVirjoinga Hi, can you restart with a Clean Boot before you play, and see if that changes anything?

If you still have issues you might try playing with the game in Windowed mode and monitor your PC's performance. You can toggle Windowed/fullscreen mode at any time by pressing Alt & Enter. 

If you press Alt Ctrl & Esc on your desktop you'll get your Task Manager, from here you can pop into the Performance tab. You can use this to see if any particular part of your system is being over-stressed. There's also a link ther to open the Resource monitor, which will give a more detailed breakdown and can help identify where the issue lies.
