PS4 Connection Issues

Me and a friend are having issues connecting to one another on PS4, I've tried checking our IP and we're both on IPv4. We are running off the same network though, any work around that could help?

Just to clarify - you're using the same network, but you're playing on 2 different IPs, right? 

Also, have you tried any other troubleshooting steps from this article?

Yep both consoles get different IP's from the router.


I've tried the steps from that article except being able to open the ports, I'm trying to figure that out. Both me and my friend have Nat type 2.
