PS4 Blu-Ray play progress saves

Hi - I have a PS4 and purchased a new Battlefield V disc, installed and updated. I cannot save or find out how to save my progress in the game. I am a Battlefied and PS4 newbie so this may be a dumb question. Any answers or insights? Thanks.

No problem.  But no it is just how this game works in general, it is the same on PC and console.

BFV does not have a manual save feature.  It will autosave while playing Campaign.  As far as multiplayer, your stats/progress are saved via the servers and is no save function.

Thanks - When I play single player and not multi it seems to forget where I left off and starts the mission at the beginning. Just stated the target practice on line.

Within missions, if you quit out, it will usually start at the beginning or at the last checkpoint.  You cannot just pause and save exactly where you are like alot of open world games.

Ok thanks - was hoping there was a way to save at a particular point ( that point noted on PS4s disk) n the game would pick up there. Different from some PC games.
