Career Mode Never Loads

I have had this from the time I started to play the game. I've gone through a number of rounds in career mode but has stopped working now except for other forms of play.

Are you getting an error message? nothing

Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? not sure but a week or so after launch. Still occurring 

Is anything else happening? Asks me to select the tour and does nothing. Go back to the main menu and then back into the career mode and it freezes the game. 

Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: Reinstalled the game twice 

If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...

If on PC, please share a DxDiag (Allows us to get PC Spec's, Check for errors/crashes, and look at drivers) Surface Book 2 15"

A little frustrating...

I have battled through the glitches from launch as to why the game won't load from startup, why the game won't play on ultra when I can play any other game at max settings, and this is beginning to feel like a settlement waiting to happen.

I played about 30 hours worth of career mode on my player (and am several tournaments in), and one day it randomly began giving me an issue. I open the game, try to start career mode, and it tries to make me pick a start to my career again (meaning I can choose USGA R&A, Korn Ferry Tour, or skip straight to PGA Tour). When I select ANY option, it reverts to the yellow "loading" circle, then does nothing.

This game is not only giving the EA Sport PGA Tour Franchise a horrible look, but is also opening SO MANY eyes to all the technical issues EA Sports has had in the past. Based on the forums for several games over previous years, this isn't a new issue, and will likely continue to happen.

If anyone has any insight, I would love to hear how to potentially fix this issue. But will very seriously consider the frustration when purchasing EA games moving forward. What a miserable launch and first few weeks, as far as quality, playability, and most importantly, customer interaction and service.

Same issue, career mode not loading.

Nothing else is happening, including resolution

I've uninstalled, re-installed, tried on a different PC, same thing.  I tried on two separate high end PCs, one a laptop.  3090ti and 2070ti. 

I've tried asking for a refund with no response.

Please help, or preferably give my $70 back to I can choose a functional game.

Having a similar issue for over a week now on my PS5. I can’t advance past the 3rd round in the Korn Ferry Tour. If I try to play it or even skip the event the game freezes. It’s unacceptable that this issue has persisted this long for multiple people with no fix. I was very much enjoying the game, but at this point I just want a refund.

I am having the same problem. 

My PC crashed as I was midway through a round of golf in career mode and then when I restarted the game it was as though my career had reset. 

All my other stats and information was as was. 

I can access the screen to choose where to begin my career & and then click through to choosing from the list of amateur options but when I make a selection there

absolutely nothing happens. 

I tried using the 'repair' option on the EA App but that doesn't seem to work.

I am currently re-installing the game to see if that helps but judging by the comments I'm seeing, I am not hopeful!

This happened to me this afternoon.  Am over half way through my PGA Tour career.  Have reached Level 49.   Was playing the PGA Tour Championship and the game locked up my PC.  Nothing worked, couldn't Alt-Tab out of the game, Alt-F4 didn't work.  Couldn't run Task Manager.  Computer was locked up.  Had to switch it off.

Now I am in the same situation.  All my skills and level are still showing but cannot start career mode.  Like all the other threads on here, it asks me which Tour I want to start on and then does nothing.  Going into career settings locks up the game.

I am really, really annoyed.  I appear to have lost all the hours I have put in playing this game.  I resigned myself to having to start my career again and even that doesn't work.

EA - please sort this out or issue a refund.
