PGA Tour Career Mode not loading [ Edited ]

Summarize your bug Career mode doesn't work. I can play any other mode including challenges. No matter which option I choose for career mode, nothing happens. Going back to the main menu and back into career mode brings up the AI tuning screen. Clicking "save" results in a hung screen. Background animations on the tuning screen keep working but it never progresses and I eventually have to Alt-F4.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I guess you'd have to try opening career mode. Or see that it happens at least for me every single time and I cannot play career mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing works for career mode which means I cannot play career at all.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to get into career mode and actually play.

Career mode just doesn't load no matter what I try. Nothing happens when choosing where to start my career. Going back to menu and going back into career mode gives me the AI tuning screen. After clicking "save" the screen hangs and never progresses. I cannot go back or do anything at this point no matter how long I wait. I eventually have to Alt-F4 to get back into the game. I have tried verifying game files from within Steam. I have tried launching from EA. I have changed settings and tried different options for starting point.

i cannot start career mode. i cannot select an event. i have tried uninstalling the game and re installing it but it still wont work i have been trying to figure it out for days. any help would be appreciated.

Locked out of Career Mode.

I was playing the PGA Tour Career mode and was on the last round of the masters.  My game crashed and when i got back into the game, career mode no longer works. It asks me to pick where to start my career.  Clicking on any of the 3 options locks the game up after picking difficulty.

My golfer stats were saved and currently at level 25. but i cannot play career mode anymore

Can this be fixed?  Ive repaired the game. it did not help

I have the same issue as the above, I managed to play through all of the Q school and KF tour and was on my 4th PGA Tour event on the last hole of the last round and then the game crashed my computer, now my career mode gets an infinite loop of hey try to select a tour then get stuck. I have 50+ hours on my character and now he cannot play career mode. The best part is that EA will not even acknowledge that this is a massive ongoing issue.

@Bv3r Ouch. I’m having similar career mode freezing issues on Series X with a character I’ve only played about 6 hours on and I’m already pissed at the wasted time. I can’t imagine how angry I’d be if 50 hours was just lost due to a bug.

I knew it couldn't be just me, but glad for the confirmation. lol Same thing... game crashed during career mode, and when I came back into game, all career progress seemed to be gone and I can't access the mode. Makes me select 'where to start' like you, and then does nothing. I did start trying to go back into it and then I can select some Career 'options', but then it freezes and I have to reboot. Can replicate 100% of the time.

@Bv3r It's saved my skill progression and showed the quests I've completed but otherwise, exact same issues for me. Wants me to restart my career (which, you know, f*** that) but won't even let me do that.
