Cannot play career mode [ Edited ]

Still an issue, and I'm not alone. Looks to be an issue across the board. Is anyone looking into this? Some kind of update would be nice.

I reported this same issue two weeks ago as have a lot of others.  I am on the PS5 platform.  ZERO updates or communication from EA Sports about this issue which is pretty mind blowing from a customer service perspective!

all I get when sir Nick talks and game says "press any button" it only goes to quick play . I deleted , reinstalled same thing, brought game back ( within 7 days thank goodness) the same thing. Went to playstation store on my console paid for a "patch" $15.00 .well its not on my console not in storage. games anything . I have like 4 emails a f/b DM to ea sorts no answer. just quick play nothing else . no career no create . any suggestions??

Having the same issue. I choose PGA tour, nothing happens, i "B" out, then try again, and change everything to full, "A'' to accept, it saves and nothing. Sits there playing music for over 15 minutes. Have to task out and restart and same thing happens. Complete mess

Yesterday I tried creating a new golfer (since I hadn't done much with the first one its not a loss for me) and I was able to play one round of the Amateur Championship, which up to this point I was not able to even get to with my original created golfer. I'll check to see if this holds up later. If it does its a workaround at least for those that haven't done much yet as dumb as it is.

I get to the fourth round of the Florida open in my rookie season on tour and when I click to start the round the game freezes and completely locks up. Reset the game, reset the PS5, doesn't matter. can play other modes fine but career mode is literally unplayable right now. The game freezes and is unplayable and i have to close out the game and restart it.

Please share any steps you've tried to far to resolve the issue: It's unresovable because I can't play the career mode round.

I want a refund as well 75$ on ps5 and can’t play career mode cause it freezes every time I try to play my next event
