PC: Game Won't Launch

Having same problems, game opens to loading screen for a few seconds, and then closes

Can you generate a new Dxdiag as your CPU is missing from the one you posted.

Please go through the following troubleshooting steps:

• Install any available Windows Updates
• Update or reinstall your video drivers
• Run System File Checker to ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
• Try a clean boot before starting the game: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Hey recently solved a similar problem and also with the system file Ntdll.dll all the advice that I suggested did not help, it turned out that the Ntdll.dll file is damaged and the only way to fix the problem remains to reinstall Windows.

Lets not jump the gun here, it is possible/likely that the System File Checker can fix that.

Reinstalling Windows really is a last resort due to it being such a lengthy process.

Just thought I would update. The game started working today. I have no idea why, or if it will continue, but I'll take what I can get.

I kept getting black screen on game launch have tried everything to no avail.  I finally tried running the game in compatibility mode for Server 2008 service pack 1 and it tells me it's  incompatible,  I saved the setting anyway and the game loads ever time and plays fine.
