After the latest patch, my game is frequently freezing up during the match startup phase (any gamemode).
This can happen at any time between the countdown to legend select, legend selection, and even during the start of dropship.
There is no recovering from the freeze as the game will sit on the frozen screen and continue to play ambient sounds.
Once it occurs, you have to manually kill the game process and relaunch the game (no crash file is generated).
So far today, I've had around 14 freezes in 19 attempts at matchmaking.

Launch and Freeze 1.mp4 - shows launching the game only to have it freeze upon trying to join a match.
Apex Freeze - Super Cut A.mp4 - shows 4 different instances of the game freezing up yesterday for both normal & duos.
Additional note,
This is really eating into my ability to play games to get Battle Pass Levels for the pass I payed for.
I can't play most games I queue up for.

11/10/2019 - Freezes: 9 (1 on the ground), Played: 3
11/11/2019 - Freezes: 5 (1 on the ground), Played: 8
11/12/2019 - Freezes: 12, Played: 18
Troubleshooting:
So far I've tried restarting my computer, updating graphics drivers, and checking my other drivers.
I've also tried closing applications I've had open in the background. No effect yet on freezing.

Had my first freeze up happen while on the ground. (Video)
Not sure if it is an outlier or not, but it had all the same symptoms of the match startup phase freezing:
I had just won my previous match (the first match I was able to get into for today after two previous freezes) and re-queued for this match.

i have had this problem for the longest. probably around 3 months now. surprised more and more people are facing this now.
although since duos update, i havent had this problem so far.

An update came in after the last event. Approximately 3GB(2-3 days ago) Meanwhile I bought Apex coin. Then I started to have this problem constantly.
I may have lost about 300-400 points. (about ranked) It freezes all the time.. I've never had a problem like this before.
No support, no help... There's no explanation. How long will this go on? Or are your developers planning to fix this?

We'll get this passed along to the team for an investigation. Please let us know what steps you've tried on your end to fix this and attach a DxDiag so they can look at the system specifications for these machines that are freezing.
