  • We need Dxdiag, to see what Hardware and drivers you are using.

         Threadripper 1 CPU

         16+GB RAM

         RTX 2070

I can run other games for hours without a problem.

I tried almost all fixes without success.

  • What did you do just before the crash happen?

         Play conquest normally.

  • Does it happen in all game modes?

I think it happens in all game modes

  • Does it always happen at the same action/place?

Random. It could crash during startup, before match, or during match.

Crashing happens with DLSS, not without it. Stuttering happens with

         DXR, not without it.

Played the game alot a while back and had no crashes or issues.  Started playing again and the game randomly crashes to desktop.  It usually crashes to desktop but occasionally I get graphical artifacts and it hard locks my PC requiring a hard reset.

I updated my graphics drivers the other night and the crashes seem to be increasing in frequency now.  There is nothing in game that prompts the crash and it appears to be intermittent, occurring occasionally every 15 min or so.  But when I play with my brother his game will alt tab the exact same time my game crashes (same server), though his does not crash.  I only play multiplayer.

Here is the windows error which is generated:

  • What did you do just before the crash happen?

It happens almost everytime there are many explosions at the same time (like an audio error?)

What I have found - every single crash is related with commited memory spike (normally during playing it's around 17GB and suddenly it hits 27-30GB)

It doesn't matter how much my system Page File is - without any additional memory game crashes after 5 minutes. With additional 64GB game runs smooth for about 30 minutes, but it always crashes before I finish a full match. Also the Ram the game uses constantly rises.

  • Does it happen in all game modes?

Yes, I didn't find any differences between game sizes and modes - the funnier the game starts to be - the more probable the crash is Frown

  • Does it always happen at the same action/place?

No, it can crash almost everywhere. On the other hand I've never had a crash during peacefull running and exploring (like when You spawn faaaaaaar away from the heat of the battle)

Extra:

I tried a clean install of windows 10, disabling game mode, disabling full screen optimizations, checked dx 11 and dx 12, hdr on and off, playing without an audio driver installed (just basic windows driver), setting the priority to high, disabling every single bacground process, starting an app as an administrator, running game in a window and disabling origin in game overlay, adding hbcc memory to my vega 56 (but even at ultra settings with 3440x1440 res. it uses around 5.6-6.1GB). My pc is overclocked to it's max, but it's very stable, temperatures never exceed 75C on both gpu and cpu, ram is rock solid at 3200mhz (checked with hours of stress testing). Also no other game causes problems like this one does.

I hope this will help a little, Good Luck!

After today's patch I can't even start the game. It loads for a few seconds then crashes to desktop.

1 - Nothing different, no changes to system

2 - Normal game play

3- happens in all game play modes, usually before the game has even started

4 - Sometimes I can get into a games, most times I am kicked to desktop with no error messages.

@EA_Atic

The 3/21/2019 BFV update did not fix crash to desktop or stutters. I ran Shadow of the Tomb Raider with DLSS and RT shadows, and it doesn't crash. I get dips in FPS at certain areas.
