Haven't played for a few days but have 70hrs logged total. Can no longer launch the game at all. Have had the odd crash here or there but generally been OK so far.
To reproduce my error :
Open Origin
Launch Battlefield V
BFV icon appears on taskbar, small black window appears
Black window disappears
Origin reappears
The same steps cause the crash 100% of the time, this is not an intermittent problem for me.
Tried so far :
Updated to latest Nvidia drivers
Cleared Origin cache
Added exceptions to Anti Virus software
Repaired game via Origin client
Disabled Origin In Game for Battlefield V
Launched Origin client as administrator
Launched bfv.exe directly as administrator from C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield V
Event Viewer logs the following error each time I launch :
Fault bucket 1499043633734344010, type 5
Event Name: BEX64
Response: Not available
Cab Id: 0
Problem signature:

Anyone seen this and managed to resolve? Pretty unimpressed.

Resolved my issue by uninstalling the game, restarting and reinstalling.
Updated my Nvidia drivers today, can once again no longer launch.
Why does Battlefield seemingly have such an issue with my graphics drivers staying current?!! If I have to write 55GB to my NVME drive every time I update my drivers, someone at EA ought to be sending me a drive.

I also seem to be having this same issue. I updated BF V just a half an hour ago and during the download/update the computer had an error and needed to be hard restarted. I don't know if this affected the update but when I restarted, the download needed a little bit longer to download and then completed the update. I then tried to play the game and it started and went to the loading screen (with the girl) and then just shut itself off. It has done this same thing each time I have tried to start it now (5+ times). Please advise.

Any chance of some EA input here? The game is completely inaccessible, while every other game I'm currently playing is working exactly as normal.

@snuffwig @N1t3crawler @HardcoreTomato @Shanep1278 Any chance you guys have discord on your game rigs is so do this and if you do not still try the other steps please.....
1-If you have discord installed turn off overlay..settings- App Settings- Enable Overlay- Off
2- Run Repair game on BFV
3-Run CC cleaner on your registry and I do this after every program is installed after reboot as well as when I remove programs after reboot run CC Cleaner on registry.
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download?source=cpc&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIm8malvD_3wIV0yCtBh0mfA_AEAA...
4- Last step to fix it run the windows scan with all programs and web pages closed. I started with sfc /scannow ran it once rebooted and ran it again. BFV should now be stable.
NOTE = Run command prompt as ADMIN for all command lines reboot PC after each line is run.
sfc /scannow
Only for windows 8 & windows 8.1 Win 10
Reboot PC after you run each command line and close programs and web pages.
This command line will scan the health of your PC.
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
This command line will restore the health of your PC and you dont lose anything .
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
OR
If restore heath gave you errors then you can always try this command line.
dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
If you ever get Error 0x800F081F with the restore health scan then run this command line.
Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore

Hi @snuffwig
Sorry to hear about the issues!
Try a complete un-install of both BFV and Origin and clear temp folders, then re-install them again.
It seems this may be the only way to go? If you say you have done everything else bar a complete uninstall/re-install of the programs, this may help.
(Turn off any unusual tweaks or overclocks if any, I would also make sure the GPU is seated correctly - just to be sure)
Lets us know how you get on...
Best of Luck!

@snuffwig I had you run the windows scans as your error Fault bucket 1499043633734344010, type 5 is from windows but it is also a Phony error bracket number so just ruling out your OS making the issue.. As for CC Cleaner it is much improved over the years and gives my PC no problems the last 5 years or more now. But your choice or not if you want to use it to clean up the registry on your PC.Just trying to save you a format and a clean game install and get your game stable.
