Own BF5+BF5 Deluxe but wont let me play

Hi, ive been struggling with this game for months now, today ive been able to purchase the Deluxe Edition as i already owned the standard version, but when i try and launch the game it doesnt launch at all and it i launchBF4 instead and go to the BF5 tab it shows the purchase screen where it says i own both because i already purchased it.... why on earth wont it recognise that i already own the game and let me acces it ?

It is showing the same thing on my end, despite owning BFV + Deluxe Edition(see image below):

This is because Battlefield V is not integrated with the In-Game System, and does not allow you to access it through the Tabs on the left side of the Screen, like it would with Battlefield 1 or Battlefield 4. 

 

If you are having issues launching the game, I suggest trying these steps if you haven't already:

 

1. Turn off the Origin in-game Overlay in the Origin Launcher

 

2. Clear Origin Cache: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

 

3. Run Origin and Battlefield V as Administrator

 

4. Uninstall/Reinstall Origin: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

 

5. Clean Boot: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

 

6. Do a clean uninstall/reinstall of the latest Graphics Drivers: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

 

Try these steps, and let us know if you're still having issues launching Battlefield V.

What does it look like under "my games" in Origin?

Have you tried to use the repair game from origin? Do you have any firewalls? Sometimes firewalls blocks the activation of the game meaning you have the game but its not activated thus making the launcher to believe you do not have the game.

Do you by any chance use Windows defender with ransomware protection on?

If yes, disable it and try again. Ransomware protection will interfere with everything trying to read/write to the documents folder.

If you use any other antivirus try check the log if it has interfered with anything when you try to start the game. It may be that the activation exe is prevented from launching
