Overlay not working in Apex

Go to My library, Right click on Apex and select game properties, ensure enable in-game overlay is selected.

Have you enabled the overlay in both application settings within Origin and also In Apex launch settings (the cog under the game ) within Origin?

I actually had mine off, and I know why.

Its because the many random crashes to desktop we all probably have experienced,

a lot of guides on youtube recommended switching it off to perhaps fix the problem.

This was the reason for me.

The overlay and such is contributing to crashes for many other users.

I reinstalled my origin launcher and it worked

you can still use msi, just gotta remember to have it closed completely when starting up apex. once you have apex running through the origin launcher, and the ingame overlay is working, THEN you can open msi afterburner and minimize like usual and leave the on screen display up like usual.

@Sminstes I think that you are the only right, everyone forgot about that cog
