Origin Problem - Can't find UpdateTool.exe

This still doesn't work, even after uninstalling and re-installing it still won't work. Not sure how to fix it now.

Right click on Origin icon then run as administrator. Works fine!!!

Shouldn't have to run a clean boot, turn off antivirus, and run as administrator.  EA fix origin or you'll be looking at another class action lawsuit.

First of all, make sure that you are running Origin in administration mode. You can do this by right clicking on the Orihgin icon and selecting 'Run as administrator'.

That didn't work for me.

In the end what did work was uninstalling Origin and going to http://www.oldversion.com/windows/origin/ and dowloading beta version 8 and then it worked just fine.

I have had to uninstall origin, cycle power and reinstall 4 times in as many months. This is getting old! I play more offline due to my schedule and lack of internet service at times. I am new to the gaming world and have a hard time believing something like this hasn't been corrected going back to some post in early to mid 2012. Thanks
