Option to ignore controller input

It's great that Titanfall 2 has native support for the PS4 controller (thanks!). But I use other stuff to map controller inputs to keyboard and mouse inputs for a better experience. It'd be really nice to be able to have TF2 ignore my gamepad so my other application can handle inputs without TF2 interfering.

Is there any way to do that?
