Hey @AlphaPlaysFPS @Ryank5337,
Thanks for specifying.
Have you guys tried to do a fresh uninstall/install of Battlefield 1?
I believe this is a known performance issue at the moment, across all platforms.
Here are some other steps that you can try:
PC: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/connection-troubleshooting-advanced-pc/
PS4: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/console/connection-troubleshooting-advanced-playstation/
Let us know if you still need assistance.
Thank you

Yes. A uninstall and reinstall was done with zero result. Signing in and out of PSN as well.

I´ve read a pretty awkward "solution" that I want to share with you.
People say that this issue is caused by using the M1917 LMG as a supporter.
If you use any other weapons, you won´t see the black screen.
I don´t know if this is true, but I´m using the BAR and I´ve never had this problem.
Maybe it helps, please try it

Hey @AlphaPlaysFPS,
Sorry those steps didn't help very much.
Have you tried contacting EA Support via Live Chat to see if they have some more steps you can try?
You can contact them here:

Like I said, I believe this is a known issue across all Platforms, so hopefully an update/patch comes out soon.
Thanks

Hmm. That is def interesting but I run a variant of guns through all classes. I appreciate the idea though.

lol. Yes. Unfortunately they actually steered me here. I hope next update smoothed it out. Thank you though.

Some people reported that this problem disappeared after they stopped using the M1917 LMG as a supporter.
I don´t know if it´s true because I don´t use it, but I´ve never had this problem.
Might be a coincidence, but maybe you can give it a try.
