When I go to play online, my game always loses connection from the load in screen. I can play online with all my other games like NBA 2k, so my xbox live and wifi is working. There is something wrong with the game. How do I fix it?

Can you switch to a wired connection or is your router too far away?

NHL and WIFI mix like oil and water my friend. If you are unable to outright wire up, I suggest buying yourself what's called a 'Powerline Adapter'; this allows you to created a "wired" connection anywhere in thr house and will be much more stable than wireless

just to clarify. i’m using a wired connection as of now. i already tried restarting my router but it still doesn’t work. there is something wrong with my game. no idea how to fix it

Did you power cycle your modem, router and console after switching to a wired connection? If not, try that now. Also, try clearing your alternate MAC address with these steps:

Go to your Xbox One Settings (Just press Start, then click Settings)
Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"
