Old account requires Security Key, app not recognizing serial number

Trying to play again, I have my serial number from December 22, 2011. Not recognizing it as valid format, am I just missing something or is this key too old?

the removal link is only available via a web browser not the launcher and only if the username and password are correct and account is not suspended.

If you give swtor cs  call they can assist removing the security key manually

Check this link , if you leave the key blank on login can you remove the security key ?

thanks for the reply, i looked over the link - i unable to login to the site or through the launcher, there doesnt seem to be an option to remove the key either.
