Not receiving email for verification

I've hit the resend button about 7 times now over the course of a good half an hour but I still am not receiving anything. Is this a known glitch?

Hey @Shimadacat thanks for reaching out. Have you checked your spam/junk folder? And can you make sure there is no space at the end of your email address before you hit send?

Yes, I checked all my folders and I made sure there were no typos and so forth in my email, but it still did not show up
