No sound

★ Apprentice

I have had this bug for a while.

When i searched for answers i found a lot of other topics about no sound bugs, but not like the one i have.

I have no sound, ever.

I tried restarting it multiple times.

repair game multiple times.

I even reïnstalled the game.

But nothing seems to work.

Any help would be appreciated...

So what it does is that you turn off all programs on startup in case any of them are causing the issue. @AnDutchGuy

Hello!
Maybe you have muted the game in the windows audio mixer? If that is not the case try troubleshooting your headset.
Good luck!

Thx for answering!

But no, it isn't my PC or headset.

when i open the volume mixer i see that the game does not make sound at all, which even if it was muted i would still be able to see.

Have you tried to reinstall drivers for your audio system? @AnDutchGuy

In windows is the correct audio output markers as default device.

I'm assuming in game party you are talking about?

Try moving the SWBF2 document folder to the desktop and then tart the game up to see if there any corrupted files in there. @AnDutchGuy

What head set are you using?

Re: No sound

Champion

By moving the file out of the documents folder, you will have a back up copy.  You need to move the folder so it is no longer in the documents directory.

Reboot,  then launch the game.  A new folder will be created in the Document folder.  If the sound works, you had a problem or corrupted file.  If nothing changes, then it was not those files.

Then we can try other options..
