No sound & invisible gun before freezing (PS4)

I am able to load the game, enter the lobby, and join a server, but after I land from the initial drop I lose almost all game sound and any weapon I pick up is invisible and then the game freezes within 30 seconds to a minute. It’s very frustrating, and only happening with Apex. Anybody else having this issue?
