No additional energy added after a product is bought

How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I just bought the deluxe llama-hair towel that gives a +2 energy recharge for showers but after purchasing it there was no increase in energy
What do you expect to see? An increase in energy for my showers

Adding the ultra-spramp sink (+2), the yorso dual deluge shower (+2),  the hamptastic hamper (+3) and the recently bought deluxe llama-hair towel (+2), I should get an energy of 14 but as seen in the photo I only have 12.

@debbydonka The maximum energy you can get from a shower is +13.
A basic shower adds +5. You can upgrade to a shower that gives +7. Then you can combine the shower with a towel rack which adds +2, a hamper +3 and a toiletries tower +1. That's 7 + 2 + 3 + 1 = 13.
The sink doesn't add energy to the shower.
