I've got no sound in game at all. At first it just cut out, so I restarted the game and that seemed to fix it but it cut out again a few minutes later. Tried restarting. No luck, I've got no sound at all. I've tried "CTRL + S" but it hasn't done anything. I'm on windows 10, but my sound drivers are up to date and I'm able to hear everything else fine.

With the game running , go to window mode (ALT + Enter) and right mouse click the speaker icon on the taskbar and select open volume mixer
confirm the slider for swtor isn't minimised.
if the slider isn't minimised try running a game repair

Done all of that too. Volume slider is fine. Deleted Bitraider folder and got a repair done. Still nothing.

I know CTRL S is meant to be the toggle for sound , have you double checked via the sound preferences in-game just to be certain, there is a tick box there as well ? (CTRL S is meant to toggle this though )

Yeah, I've checked the options as well. I've even turned them on and off again; restarted the game in between just to be sure. Nothing has worked yet. :/

With the game closed right mouse click on the game shortcut and select open file location
at C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor
is a file called diskcachearena , delete just this file and then see if it persists.
after this , may need to look at re-install of the sound drivers etc

*Tip for the future as I take it your using Windows 10, close your game down and right click the speaker icon on your desktop, "Playback Options".. Ensure the device your using Speakers/Headset has the green tick for 'Default'.. sometimes this can revert, if your a person who is always plugging in a headset to your PC.
