No Drag Hud after completing first stage of a Drag Race

After completing the first stage of any Drag event, the "Rev Hud" disappears at the start of each subsequent race and doesn't reappear until 2nd or 3rd gear. It's frustratingly hard to complete and win the event after that since your N02 relies on Perfect start and Perfect shifts to fill the gauge. Especially once you get to Diamond block, the Boss is damn near impossible to beat if you can't at least get a decent launch to start the race.
I've included a photo at the start of the second race of a random drag challenge to show the bug.
I've seen a few posts here and there with this issue as well as a few YouTube videos showcasing this bug (Xbox and Ps4 users mainly, though I have seen a PC player or two with it). EA or Ghost are y'all working on this yet? Among the other gamebreaking bugs that have been showing up, this seems like it'd be a quick and easy fix.
