Nfs Heat unresponsive at title screen

I'm curious, does Ea intend on putting out an update to correct the title screen, or do I have new paperweight? 

I haven't been able to play my game in weeks. I get to the title screen on my xbox where is says play as press A. I do so and does nothing. Try pressing the change account button and same thing.... nothing.

I did my research on trying to correct it or finding my way around it. Such as uninstalling the and reinstalling it. Then read if you have a headset disconnect that. And apparently the elite 2 controller causes a problem as well so used a basic one. So I did all of these things at the same time. An guess what not a single thing worked..... wondering if anyone else has any tips I can try or if there is any talk of ea fixing this before my game is on gamestop's pre owned rack.

It's a real kick in the mouth because  this is the first nfs I could get into since pro street. 😡

Hi, can you try this specific sequence of steps, they should help until a fix rolls out for this issue.

- Close game

- Unplug all USB devices 

- Connect controller via cable

- Launch game

- On title screen, unplug the controller and turn it back on
