i still can only start in my old finished save...
Alright. After you deleted everything (I'm assuming you also deleted the Need For Speed Heat folder in the Documents folder), did you pick local save after launching the game?
If you picked cloud save, then that may be the reason why you still had your old save.
Just in case, here's a video showing how to delete your save file:

NFS CARBON was the jast good game
I agree.
NFS Carbon was indeed the last good NFS game, despite it being rushed.

Actually, NFS Heat didn't really get a lot of marketing. It wasn't shown at EA Play in 2019.
If you were to ask someone that doesn't follow the NFS news, they wouldn't have known a new NFS game released in 2019. They be like "Wait, you serious? A NFS game released?" lol

I know how you feel about The Crew 2. lol
I play The Crew 2 as well, although I only play it once a week for the summits.

@lunytrickz Your save file location can be found by following the below steps.
This PC > Local Disk > Users > YourName > Documents > Need For Speed Heat > SaveGame > savegame
Copy and paste your save file somewhere just in case you want to go back to it again, delete it afterwards, and now you can replay the game from the beginning again.
