If I unlink my Apex Legends PC account from my EA account will I only lose content earned on PC?
I started up a PC account recently for Apex, curious as to what it would be like to play on PC but after reading through these forums with regards to problems and hacked accounts etc it seems to always be on PC. As I don’t need a PC account and it was purely only out of curiosity (we don't have cross progression so it’s unnecessary for me plus I am already bad enough at the game on controller where I have played for years, I don’t need to be even worse on M&K 🤣)
My main account is my Playstation account where I have spent a lot of money so I don't want risk losing anything.
I just want to make sure that if I unlink my PC account it will not affect anything on my PS account at all. I just don’t see the point of leaving a seemingly higher security risk to my Apex legends account in place by having a PC account when I don’t need it.
TIA.

Hi there, @ChemicalRelay.
It shouldn't do any harm to leave your PC account connected. It's separate from your PS account. My recommendation would be to just stick to playing on your PS4 and just leave the PC account as it is. Keeping your PC account linked and not using it would make sure no content and progress is lost.

@EA_Aljo Thanks for the reply. I guess so. I’m certainly not going to risk losing anything but the amount of posts here around peoples accounts being hacked and stolen on PC seems way too common.

That is very frequently due to not enabling two-factor authentication. If you're not using it, more information can be found here.
