NEED FOR SPEED PC version need solo Mode

why do the console version have a mode for solo play and not for PC version of the game too ?? it should be in the game there are some people that would like to play the game in solo mode due to there people in the game that likes to mess other people fun up as they are in a middle of a race

there is the option to play alone on PC as well, but this option only appears when you already joined an online session

go to the Menu -> Options -> Game Options -> Play alone

i put the "play alone" mode and its is a * the others players come out agian can you tell me how to play alone without others players
