I cant get the rewards for linking with pvz heroes

So, recently I started playing pvz heroes a lot. I somehow randomly found out about the smash and green shadow hats in pvz gw2, which I (conveniently) own. I tried linking my accounts as all the tutorials say though, no reward has been obtained yet. PS: I play on PC
