Thanks JAEGAROLLE, that is is the real solution.
EA customer support is the worst I have come across. I was on the chat twice and they rushed me off the chat and told me someone would ring me
very soon to discuss the issue. No one called and when I asked what was going on they said someone would ring me again....nothing.
Wasted half my day on my sons 13th birthday tying to get this to work. How easy should it be for EA customer support to know about this issue?!?!?!?
Extremely frustrated customer.

I've tried all of the above and it doesn't work. So frustrating that everyone has this same issue and there is no fix!!

Having the same exact issue. Have you figured it out?

Hi,
Could you tell me a bit more about your situation, such as which platform you're on, what the registered age on your account is, and if you have a subscription for online gameplay?
Thank you,

Xbox one, no restrictions/adult settings, Xbox live gold acct, and EA live account.

Okay my son is having the same issue here.
This account does not meet minimum requirements.
He has all age restrictions lifted and a gold live account.
But, nowhere on his Origin account can I find a way to connect to Xbox. If we click add friends it's just for that?
This is the most frustrating, conveluted mess I have ever come across!

First of all, this is my old account I'm using to say this. So it has nothing to do with this account. But when i launched BF1 today it said "Account does not meet minimum requirements" and just left me there. I currently use a PS4 and I am on a sub account, how can i play online?
