Music Player Keeps Playing

I've turned off the music, get the music player keeps playing, taking up my screen, and making a noise when it switches songs. Is there a way to shut this off completely? If not, can you add that to an update, that if music is set to 0, then it doesn't keep telling me what song is(n't) playing.

You can switch from the soundtrack to the NHL theme in audio settings. That will remove the soundtrack pop ups.
