You had no chance of stopping that Shadow, it really appeared out of nowhere behind that door...
This could be a combination of connectivity and console performance. Can you let me know if these steps to see if it helps before reinstalling the game?

Try rebooting your network and power cycle the console.

Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.

Whether I would have survived or not isn't the relevant point to me. I saw them, heard them. Knew they were out there and ready to shoot, or would have been if I didn't lose the frames. You can see I'm even on anvil rounds instead of full auto. Using headset, there's an audio queue when they are near, plus I did see em running back n forth thats why I was in front of door. I just wanted the chance to actually fight them and not suddenly find myself dead (get some shadow kills for event chall).
I have less issue with my dying in the mod, it happens, more that I can't defend myself because the red circle icon in top right keeps appearing which notifies that I am stuttering in connection. I tried shoving an ethernet directly into back of console, kinda helps?
The Modem reboot had no effect and power cycling my ps4 also did nothing.

Think I found the issue and fix. Apparently my wifi connection with console has decided to kaput on me, don't seem to be stuttering on cable. Haven't had that issue in years.
@SpyrosFPS Thanks for being critical of a latency situation instead of suggesting possible issues.......
I did say I more cared that I could put up a fight in a match than whether I won or not...... You missed the detail where It was switched to anvil rounds btw, so my fire rate was slower and couldn't kill them at the appropriate speed. You also missed the detail where every single shot actually missed despite being point blank (funny right?)
I don't mean to be rude but I was looking for help with the connectivity issue that I managed to figure out a fix for, not a play by play on a situation where I couldn't even shoot enemies because rubber-banding in combat.
Anyway. Wifi acting up. Wired cable seems to have fixed. My apologies for thinking it was on Respawn / EA server / game side issues.
I managed to get both my shadow and legend win for the event & am only missing dailies (easy) and legend kills (45/50 as of this post). @SpyrosFPS Have a good one. @EA_Blueberry Looking forward to Revenant as a legend. His abilities look like they fit right into my playstyle / theme.

@Monhulio I watched the whole video i didn't see you lagging. It would be easier to find out about lag if you did something and encounter other players instead of looting camping. I had to watch 8 minutes for an instant death at the end with bad position, bad scope loadout. I didn't miss Anvil on Flatline. Only 1 bullet would be enough to kill a Shadow but i guess you were unlucky with hip-fire,slowfire or maybe the lag that you mentioned. It's a risk you better use auto-fire for close combat. Anvil hopup is the best for far away targets with x1x2 or x2x4 scope.
I'm already having a good time by completing both wins the first day of the event. I still have to complete other challenges cause i don't play much but it's easy. Next time you better carry x1,x2 scope, maybe get high ground and play Pathfinder or Octane to escape faster and reach your teammates and evac ship with your Ultimate. Mirage is good to reach the evac ship if you are close but you will die on the way from Shadows. In Shadowfall i think Pathfinder is the best.
Wattson is good too with traps if you move carefully and stay around teammates when you reach Top 10.

I was implying there was some sort of skipped frame and lag after watching that because the Shadow really seemed like it teleported, which is why I said you wouldn't stand a chance. Not knocking your skills, but I can see how that response could have been taken as a shot. My apologies!

If you check this other video I linked in my initial response after rant, it showed my first escape as legend because of a lucky drop and camp setup with wattson. I think it said I got 1 legend 16 shadow kills lol. It should also accurately show a bit of lagg.
That's why I was a bit exasperated. But yea, I got exactly how strong Wattson is in this round. Tho it hurts because caustic's gas isn't nearly as effective as these fences in this mode sadly..... @EA_Blueberry gassy damage buff suggestion??
