Missing DLL, Error 0x7e [ Edited ]

Greetings,

I haven't played mass effect Andromeda for a few months and I got this error now. Missing dll. (See Attached print screen)

I believe its due to the recent windows update. But even when I download those different media packs it still does not work or in some cases the media pack wont even install on my current windows version.

I tried a few media packs from the link you provided me but they would not install.

Though I found that link : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3145500/media-feature-pack-list-for-windows-n-editions

It shows the media pack version per edition of windows. Therefore, I downloaded the April 2018 media pack ( for Windows 1803 version) and it works now.

I call this fixed !

It is likely you need the following Windows Media Feature Pack:

Hi Barry, I'm having a similar issue with the original Mass Effect. I'm running windows 10 Home Build 19043. I followed the link you posted above but I don't see download for my build version. I'm pretty new to PC gaming and routing through these files, so I'm not sure if I'm missing something here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Jake.
