Microstutter/Mini-Freezing every 1/2 seconds - Apex Legends [ Edited ]

Hi Guys,

Been looking through other topics and forums and haven't found any solutions that have worked for me personally.

My issue: Whenever I play Apex I get these mini freezes once or twice every second and it makes it extremely difficult to play as I need to be able to aim and shoot without interruption.

I've had this issue a while. I've recently upgraded my CPU and whilst doing that did a clean install of windows, which didn't fix the issue.

I have all of the game files stored on an SSD.

Imagine that little stutter but once or twice every second.

Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: Radeon RX 480

RAM: DDR4 16GB

Any suggestions? This is driving me crazy
