I was having the same issue. I fixed my issue by opening the in-game Origin overlay using Shift-F1 and then toggling and testing the microphone from within the actual Origin settings. When I did that, the game was able to detect the mic without issues.

i did that, my Yeti Mic is recognized but in Apex no one can hear me...on discord everyone can hear me so it cant be my mic.

same here, my yeti mic works on everything else including the origin launcher but not in game.

Same issue. Yeti mic is recognized, works everywhere (even Origin launcher) except in Apex.

I solved mine by doing what someone above said and opening the Origin overlay in game (origin launcher and overlay had different mics selected). I then went to audio settings in the game and clicked 'restore defaults'. I don't know why that worked, as the only settings I had changed in audio had been the lobby volume.
