Microphone Distortion

People keep telling me my microphone is static sounding and I've heard others sound like this as well. I know my mic works fine in every other game and program I use. APEX is causing an issue, how can I resolve this, I need to communicate properly.

Are you playing on PC? Also, is this your mic audio in-game, or is it happening in a third party program like Discord?

I am on PC and my mic works perfectly fine in another game or program like discord. It's my in-game mic output to the other players that is distorted.
