Memory error when launching

Apex keeps giving me the "The instruction at 0x1c9a9414 referenced memory at 0x4128a3a0." error when I try launching the game. Is there any way to fix this?

I tried rolling back my drivers to 417.71, reinstalling, turning off background processes, same error keeps occurring.

Specs:

RAM: 8 GB

GPU: GTX 880m

CPU: i7 4700HQ 

OS: Win 8.1 64 bit

No, but I think the problem is with the os, most of the people with this error are on windows 8.1

Many are experiencing this problem.. Browse through the forum a bit there might me some things to read (people posted what works for them)
