Audio cuts out during gameplay [ Edited ]

I played the open and VIP demo and had a few issues with music disapearing but never guns/power sounds.

Now with the full release I don't have any sound, the game start on mute and stay on mute even though all my other sounds are working just find.

Day 1 patch did nothing to the sound issue.

I had a lot of fun during the demos but playing without sound makes the game quite boring and make me disconect with this world/game

Me too!!! mine worked fine and after i took a break i loaded it up the audio glitched then started to hang, now it just doesnt work at all!!!

mine doesn't come back at all and still hasn't! I have reinstalled both audio and GPU drivers even ran with the windows audio drivers (uninstalled from device manager then search for hardware changes)

Audio is still cutting out, even after both patches.  In fact I only had the audio cut out during the beta and now after both patches were applied.

PC user. The game made an awful grinding sound early, but let me play with audio. The next time I rebooted the game I have no audio at all on the game. Every other source of audio on my PC works. I tried repairing the game and rebooting the game and it did nothing. This is awful and literally make the game unplayable. This is unacceptable.

Check your audio settings. There is a setting to mute on focus loss, which may exacerbate this bug.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game to the point of getting into a hornets nest of a firefight with explosions and every enemy trying to shoot you.
What happens when the bug occurs? All sound cuts out.
What should be happening instead? The game should have constant sound

So this happened to me twice in a row, where I would be running with a friend and a firefight would get serious, but then all of a sudden, my game sound will cut out. I restarted the game, and started a contract with a friend, and the same thing happened again. This bug is super annoying. Please fix.
