Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Equip the best parts and use the default 3.8l V8 with dual turbos, Race Tires, Track Suspension, Track Differential and 7 speed gearbox 2. Start a high-speed race with long stretches like Columbia (day time) 3. See how slow car accelerates past 350 kmh compared to other cars
What happens when the bug occurs? After shifting to 7th gear the car accelerates very slow to it's top speed.
What do you expect to see? The car should accelerate faster at speeds past 350 kmh. Maybe making gears shorter (e.g. with 8 speed gearbox) may help.
When using 7 speed gearbox the car's acceleration past around 350 kph is too slow. More precise precisely, after shifting from 6th to 7th gear the motor seems struggling to get to it's RPM power band (stuck in around 6.2k RPM). This causing very slow acceleration after 350kph. So any other car can easily catch up on high speed races like Sonic, Columbia or J. Storm.
