'Matchmaking' loop only on new Hardcore Royal.

I can't play the new Hardcore Royal game mode, I just get stuck on 'matchmaking'. No people are in queue or anything. For normal battle royal, ranked and arena ranked I can find a game almost instantly. Any reason for this? kinda sucks cause I cant get the challenge done.
