Make plans for baby progress goes back to the beginning after completing step 14

Hello in general, after the most recent update I'm getting a lot of glitchy issues within the game itself but specifically I was almost about to get a baby finally but as soon as I completed step 14 out of 15 it just went right back to the beginning as an available quest in my que but no progress made😒 very frustrating, any chance I can get my progress back or tips on how to progress faster or something of the sort?? Thanks for ur time and help!
