I've installed Madden 19 for PC and the game detects both my Logitech Dual Shock and PS4 controllers but the buttons are mapped incorrectly and show Xbox icons.
When I say mapped incorrectly I mean literally the only thing on my controller that works correctly is the left stick. All of the buttons don't even remotely line up with their proper functions so even if I could mentally translate the buttons to the xbox icons the game isn't functional.
Needless to say, I'm unable to play at all.
Please tell me that the developers had the foresight to support controllers generically or I'll need to get a full refund of Origin Access.

I found other 3rd party software that helped map the buttons correctly but I'm still not able to play due to the incorrect icons. Both the Xbox and PlayStation controllers have an "X" button so when I see a an "X" icon over a receiver I always hit the wrong button.
I'll be calling shortly to get my refund because this is unacceptable.

I'm having the exact problem. I own a logictech controller which resembles a Play Station controller lay out. I don't want to to match up / clone an xbox controller but even that would be better then the way it works now. There is no rhyme or reason to the controllers my "A" button is the #8 button (or R2) my "B" is #7 (or L2) #2 button takes me up and #4 takes me down. Please let us "Play Station" players know how to can get our "Play Station" looking Logic Tech controller to behave the same. Thank You

Same problem here. The controller layout is totally mixed up which deems the game unplayable. I am afraid that might need a patch.

Is there a solution for this problem?

I have an XBOX 360 controller and I can't do anything. It reads my wheel, my keyboard, and the controller wrong and just keeps going to the set active controller...

I unplugged my pedals and wheel and now it works
