@rickysteve40 @EA_Blueberry another month has now passed with no update on if this will be fixed. It’s okay, I’m an adult. You can tell me if you all have no plans on fixing this issue and I can accept I spent thousands of dollars on this game for it to only work for 4 months out of the year. I still have no word from you on this issue. Could you please update me or push harder for the specialist/dev team to do their jobs? Thanks

@rickysteve40 @EA_Blueberry your specialist team and customer service are insisting this is an issue with my internet even after telling them I’ve been able to connect to EA severs on 4 different friends accounts on my Xbox on the same internet and there’s no way it’s a problem on EA’s end so I went ahead and made a whole new gamertag and guess what, was able to sign on madden the first try! Who would have guessed. If only all my progress could be transferred

@rickysteve40 If you're able to play on other gamertags, including a fresh one, it sounds like you might have been banned? if yes, the only point of contact that can do anything about it is the ToS team. the forums team can only refer you to the ToS team in this case. they are not authorised to do more.

by the way, as far as I know, using more than one gamertag under one EA account is not allowed.

@Neo_Novalis They’ve looked into my account and I am not banned. Haven’t done anything against their conduct rules. My kids made a few gamertags so they could play a little ultimate team without messing with mine, it’s a great reward system actually for the kids. I’ve asked if they can remove those accounts knowing all the kids progress would be wiped so we can actually play the game but I’ve been told it’s not possible. The game has worked only for about a week since January 11th. It usually worked a few days after a couple of the Thursday server maintenances and then would go back to not working and getting the same error message. I’ve also had multiple gamertags linked to me EA account for over three years now and all of the sudden I’m January 2021 there’s an issue? Sounds like EA made irreversible changes to their system and they aren’t able to fix this I’m guessing which means I’m out a couple thousand dollars I invested into buying points for packs. I’ve tried calling a very few corporate numbers I found on the internet and they are absolutely no help.

@rickysteve40 that sounds really disappointing if you got banned just because you wanted to allow your kids to play the game. unfortunately, I cannot evaluate whether it is against the rules or not. and frankly, I am honestly very glad that I don't have to judge other players. there are obviously some "players" who deliberately try to cheat or enrich themselves through the game. but how do you determine whether someone really wants to cheat or not in a case of suspicion?

I'd therefore guess that the fact that you had more than one gamertag under your EA account made your account look suspicious. did you or your kids trade or sell items between your accounts? I'd guess that's what coin sellers do. if you can prove that you have only made fair trades or auctions between each other, maybe you are able to convince them that you are not using more than one account just for farming coins and packs to transfer all rewards to your main account. that's definitely something that is against the rules. but if the total balance of exchanges between all your accounts is somehow fair, I'd guess you might have a chance of them believing you and lifting or at least limiting your ban to a temporary period.

anyways, as far as I know there has been a change in EA's policy in terms of gamertags per account. I think it is not allowed anymore to have more than one gamertag, but I've read that it once was. I have no idea why you are still able to create more than one gamertag. but if it is still possible for you just due to a bug (and you have never been informed about this change in policy), maybe you might use this argument too to convince the ToS team that you did nothing wrong.

@Neo_Novalis None of that has happened to my knowledge. Didn’t know that was a thing people did? Either way, any bit of customer service above Twitter help is extremely unresponsive anyway. But anyway the support team told me they looked into all of that and said there weren’t any active bans or notes about it. Yeah and I already suggested they remove the linked gamertags so I can actually play the game and they inform me they can only remove one every 6 months. I think something went into effect January 2021 regarding multiple accounts and they just don’t know how to fix it. It would explain how rarely I get a response from them and the vagueness of answers. I predict it won’t be fixed anytime soon. They also claim the Thursday server maintenances have nothing to do with this issue yet the game has worked for a few days ONLY after a scheduled Thursday maintenance just a handful of times.

@rickysteve40 @EA_Blueberry how long are you not going to reply to this or keep me updated on any sort of progress? “Sit tight and be patient” that’s what EA sports has been telling me to do for 5 months now while a game I paid for doesn’t work

I know it's too late, but i had the exact same issue and this is the only thing that worked:

You simply have to port forward with TCP/UDP, the port numbers are 443 for both TCP and UDP. If you don't know how to, you just have to search a tutorial for your particular router model.

EA keep disconnect me while I'm playing Mut Squad or my season and I lose the whole game and my internet is good idk what to do it do that in the middle of the game

@MOPARMOBB I faced similar disconnects (both in H2H but also in MUT Solo Battles). I invested a lot of time investigating why I face this disconnects. A while ago I wrote about my lessons learnt in this forum. I hope the approaches I'm describing there will be helpful for you too, see here.

In addition, I would like to point you to the basic troubleshooting approaches. Hopefully there is something helpful there which allows you reducing this pattern.
