Madden Keeps Losing Connection To Opponent!

@treexel Bro this started happening to me too. I’ve lost 50 games. It says lost connection to opponent. I checked my internet and it’s all working fine. I’m in wireless and it was working good since I’ve had it and all of a sudden started happening. And I’m f I do get to play a game it’s all laggy and says you and your opponent having connection issues. I can’t play.

What system are you playing on?

I’m playing on ps5. My internet provider had me run a diagnostic and said that somehow the EA server it’s connecting to is in Ireland and that’s where the issue is. He suggested trying to connect to a domestic server but honestly I have no idea how to do that.

This sounds like a routing issue with your ISP. Something you can try though is using alternate DNS settings with the instructions here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.

That link was for ps4 not for ps5…will that matter or should I try those instructions anyway?

The problem has returned after being ok for a few weeks. Lost 5 in a row in the span of 15 minutes. I am beyond frustrated.
