Madden 21 Companion App Server

When I log into the Madden 21 companion app I now get the message “There was a problem communicating with the Madden NFL servers. Please try again later.” I’ve tried uninstalling the app, but nothing works. 

Is anyone else having this issue? It was fine until about 2 days ago.

There is currently an issue with players not being able to switch their persona, thus it's possible this could be related. Have you tried re-installing the app to see if that would help?

@EA_Blueberry Thanks. Yes, I’ve tried reinstalling the app, but nothing works. Customer service unlinked the wrong persona for me and it still doesn’t work with the correct persona. Not sure what’s wrong.

If you need our Support team to take a second look at your account to make sure everything is correctly in order, please contact them whenever you have any spare time. I'm sorry the wrong persona was un-linked. Our forum staff unfortunately can't help with this specific request, but as for the persona not changing in the app that's a game development issue the team is working to fix in an upcoming title update.

@EA_Blueberry Thanks. Sorry, I meant that customer service successfully unlinked the wrong/incorrect persona that was showing (which is what I wanted). Now that the correct persona shows in the companion app, it still gives me the same server error that it couldn't connect me to the Madden 21 server.

Are the personas case sensitive? In the app, it shows as all lower case.
