I ordered a desktop off CyberPower, it was delivered 05/12/2019 and I opened it for the first time yesterday. Everything was running smoothly, desktop was brilliant super fast and it was connected through HDMI to the monitor, however I have woken up today switched my desktop on and the HDMI through to the monitor won’t detect my desktop. I have tried 3 different HDMI leads as I thought it may have been the lead that was broken but none of the leads worked. I tried the same lead in my XBOX and it worked perfectly, I’ve also tried a different monitor with my desktop but it won’t work on that either which means that both HDMI plugs in the back of my desktop aren’t working. I also have no display port connection in the back of the desktop so I am unable to try that too. I have only used this desktop once and considering I have just paid almost £2,000 for it this i wouldn’t expect an issue like this. I have contacted CyberPower and I’m waiting for a reply.
Does anybody know what the problem may be?

Do you hear the ventilators start to spin if you press the power button?
All what you can try then, if you don't feel tech savvy enoug to open the PC up, is to pull the power plug, wait 10 minute (Press the power button once after 5 minutes) and put the plug back in.
If that also don't works it is probably better to talk to CyberPower tomorrow.

A 2000£ PC without a Display-port connector?
Is the Monitor connected to your Graphic-card and not to the Motherboard inputs?

Does it have a iGPU? If so you could try to plug it into the motherboard so that some data could be obtained.

@holger1405 I'm not technical at all, this was a gift for my son at christmas. All i know is that neither of the HDMI cables at the back of the desktop are working.

Look at the Picture above.
There where "Not here" is written (at the Motherboard docking points section) might be another HDMI port.
Plug the Monitor in there and test.

@holger1405 yeah, i have already done that and tested it, that doesnt work either.

You did checked that the Monitor has power and that it is turned on? (Just to make sure. )
Also, I found your other post, your PC has DP port, at least 3 ports on the GPU to be precise.
Still, if HDMI is not working you need to check that anyway.

@holger1405 I unplugged everything, left it all switched off for around an hour and then plugged it all back in and it worked fine so not sure what happened but it’s working now. Thank you !
